Depending on the designer, popularity and the style of the scent will determine the length that the perfume will be on the market. You can smell ten or twenty perfumes at a time determining which scent is best for you or as a gift.

There are so many different types of perfume on the market today. Anyone that is searching for the perfect perfume has some work before them. If you are interested in finding the perfect perfume then you will probably have to smell at least a half dozen items before making a decision. Here are some tips on picking the best perfume.

Don’t smell everything at once. Most people smell a dozen perfumes and expect to make a good decision. Unfortunately our nose gets overloaded with perfume scents rather quickly so smell only two or three at a time. Then take a little break and smell some more. If you watch people testing various perfumes, they spray one perfume on one wrist, another on the second wrist and then spray perfume on their neck, within twenty minutes; they don’t know which one is which.

When shopping for the right perfume take your time. Use the tester strips to spray perfume on. You can usually find five or six really good perfumes that you can spray on the tester strip. Take these strips home with you. Once it is quiet and you can devote all your attention to smelling each perfume take out each perfume strip and take nice subtle smells. Not only will you be able to make a better decision, the perfume will also have time to settle.
